“Russias way out of crisis” was the title of a high level hybrid international conference on 29 and 30 Sept, organised annually by MGIMO, a leading Russian University for international relations in Moscow, where many Russian diplomats study.
I held a speech as in past years. My topic: “Building Bridges: International Cooperation in Times of War and Sanctions”.
I plea for cooperation in academic research and exchange, for climate mesures, for food security and ecumenical/ interreligious dialogue.
These areas should be excluded from sanctions. With all necessary critic of Russias invasion in Ukraine, which is against the UN charter, we need to maintain bridges for solving together challenges of humanity.
